Instead of manually downloading new versions of NONOS, Pro can fetch and install updates in a secure, signed manner as they’re released, ensuring you’re always up-to-date with the latest protections. Additionally, Pro might include secure cloud integration options: imagine being able to safely back up your NONOS settings or encrypted vault to a cloud service, or sync your credentials between multiple NONOS devices under your control, all with end-to-end encryption. These conveniences make NONOS more user-friendly for power users who use it daily.

Monitoring & Management:

For enterprise deployments, NONOS Pro offers management features. IT administrators can monitor fleets of NONOS devices for compliance (for instance, ensuring all are running the latest security patch) and even set policies remotely. Think of it akin to how companies manage laptops with MDM (Mobile Device Management), Pro Edition aims to give that level of oversight for NONOS environments. There are also advanced logging and forensic capabilities; Pro can maintain tamper-evident logs of system activity (without compromising privacy) so that in high-security settings, administrators have an audit trail of what was done on a device. These logs can be stored securely or forwarded to a central SIEM system for analysis. In short, Pro bridges the gap between a standalone secure OS and a fleet-ready enterprise solution.

Pro users, especially businesses, receive priority technical support. That means faster response times, direct assistance from NONOS security experts, and guidance for deployment. If you’re an individual Pro user, this could mean quicker help if you encounter an issue or need advice on using an advanced feature. For enterprise clients, we offer dedicated support contacts and even on-site training or onboarding if needed. Pro Edition customers can also request custom integrations or features. For example, an enterprise might need NONOS to support a specific smart card or a custom authentication method, our team would work with them (possibly as a paid professional service) to integrate that into their NONOS Pro environment. The goal is to make NONOS Pro a flexible platform that can slot into corporate IT requirements.

High-Assurance Build for Regulated Industries:

NONOS Pro is positioned to meet those demands. We plan to offer certified builds of NONOS Pro that come with the necessary audits and documentation for use in regulated environmentsnonos.systems. Moreover, enterprise Pro customers can get security audits and even source code reviews catered to their needs, giving them the assurance to deploy NONOS at scale within their organizations. Essentially, Pro Edition can be seen as the “enterprise grade” NONOS, everything in the free version plus the assurances, support, and features enterprises require.

Subscription Model:

NONOS Pro is offered on a subscription or license basis. For individual professionals, it might be a simple monthly or annual fee to upgrade a personal NONOS installation to Pro (with all your devices linked to your account). For businesses, we offer volume licensing - for example, an enterprise can license 100 Pro devices or more with an option for a self-hosted update server, etc. The pricing is designed to be sustainable while supporting development and support costs.
